pointless chess rant

So the world youth chess is on in Vietnam this year. I've had a look at the names of the england representatives. It seems that for round 2, two of our players are...playing each other.

So they've spent (or their parents) have spent however much money it is to go to Vietnam. They travelled for as many miles as it takes to get to Vietnam and...They're playing each other?

They've probably played about a hundred times before in both competitive and non competitive environments. They may have even had a game in their hotel rooms, maybe even a few games ON the plane.

A bit odd. I'm predicting a draw.

I used to host my important photos on fotki and was paying for it too. I wasn't using it much so I didn't bother renewing my payment. I managed to download all that I had and I am being to move them onto flickr.
